PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The Arizona Department of Public Safety has confirmed that a search is underway after a person ran from the scene of a three-vehicle crash that ended with a pickup truck rolling over on the side of Interstate 17 on Thursday.

Details are limited, but authorities said it happened in the southbound lanes of the interstate near Dixileta Drive in north Phoenix. DPS said one person is seriously injured and that at least one person ran away from the scene.

Video from the scene showed a heavy police presence with several lane restrictions on the southbound lanes of the freeway.
