Pittsburgh police said a man has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting earlier this year in the city’s East Hills neighborhood.
Pittsburgh Public Safety said 36-year-old Terrance George was arrested and charged with criminal homicide, along with gun-related charges. He was sent to Allegheny County Jail.
According to police, Mr. George is accused of fatally shooting 25-year-old Hezon Wilson, of East Hills, on Aug. 26.
The shooting took place about 9:30 p.m. in the 2300 block of East Hills Drive and the ShotSpotter alert indicated seven rounds were fired, according to police. Police said Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene.
Pittsburgh Police said New Kensington Police and Westmoreland SWAT executed the arrest warrant.
