BEIJING (Reuters) -China’s non-manufacturing activity returned to expansion in October, an official survey showed on Friday.
The non-manufacturing purchasing managers’ index (PMI), which includes services and construction, rose to 50.1 from 50.0 in September, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
The NBS composite PMI of manufacturing and non-manufacturing fell to 50.0 in October, compared with 50.6 in September.
The 50-point mark separates expansion from contraction in activity on a monthly basis.
