CINCINNATI, Ohio — Joe Flacco’s status for Sunday’s game against the Bears is uncertain after he suffered an AC joint sprain in his throwing shoulder during last week’s loss to the Jets.
Flacco did not practice on Wednesday, and Jake Browning would get the start against the Bears if Flacco isn’t healthy.
In his Thursday press conference, Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase made it clear that regardless of whether Flacco or Browning is throwing him passes on Sunday, his approach remains unchanged.
“Nah, we still gotta attack it the same way and just do us at the end of the day, we can’t really worry about that situation,” Chase told reporters when asked if the quarterback mystery makes the week more challenging.
