Sean Couturier did not join the Flyers for the start of the second period Thursday night against the Predators.

Early in the first period, Couturier took a shot from teammate Noah Juulsen and appeared in pain when he arrived to the bench.

Couturier was ruled out for the rest of the game after first intermission. The specifics of the injury were not disclosed.

Rick Tocchet didn't have an update on Couturier after the Flyers' 4-1 win .

"I think it was a shot from the point, so we'll reevaluate [him]," the Flyers' head coach said. "Can't tell right now."

Couturier stayed in the game for the remainder of the first period and finished with 5:17 minutes of ice time.
