Happy Halloween: twin sisters Katie and Allison Crutchfield have reunited for a surprise album under the name Snocaps , out now.
The self-titled album marks the Crutchfield sisters’ first new music together since the days of P.S. Eliot, the feminist punk band that lasted from 2007 to 2011, with a brief reunion in 2016. Katie went on to perform music as Waxahatchee , while Allison formed the band Swearin.’
Snocaps contains 13 tracks, and features MJ Lenderman and Brad Cook. Both musicians are frequent Waxahatchee collaborators: Lenderman provided backing vocals to tracks off 2024’s Tigers Blood , while Cook has been her go-to producer since 2020’s Saint Cloud.
