A 43-year-old woman from Pune, identified as Snehal Gujrathi, lost her life in a tragic accident on Thursday morning when a rock crashed through the sunroof of her car at Tamhini Ghat near Kondithar village in Raigad district.

According to police reports, Snehal was travelling with her husband, son, and mother-in-law from Pune to Mangaon in a Volkswagen Virtus when the incident occurred between 9:30 am and 10 am. She was seated in the front passenger seat while her husband drove. The other two family members escaped unhurt.
