A woman has invited the ire of the internet after she recorded a reel of the moment her young son accidentally locked himself inside a bathroom - and his subsequent rescue.

In a post on Instagram, blogger Mamta Bisht shared the video, narrating how her son had locked the bathroom door from inside and couldn’t open it despite her repeated instructions.

“My son locked himself accidentally inside the bathroom and has been crying constantly. He was so scared and so was I. I couldn’t understand what to do. Then, I called my neighbour,” she said in the video where she was seen visibly distraught as her son cried inside the bathroom.
