SPOKANE, Wash. – As winter approaches, Spokane's Street Department is preparing its snow response plan and urging the community to help keep streets safe and clear.
The city announced that snow operations will begin on November 15 and continue through March 15. Crews are already staffed and ready to manage more than 2,100 lane miles across Spokane.
To ensure a prompt response to snowfall, the city has set up material stations in all four corners of Spokane. This setup is designed to help plow drivers respond quickly as conditions change.
