AADHAAR UPDATE CHARGES REVISED
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has waived the Rs 125 fee for biometric updates of Aadhaar cards for children. This will remain free for one year.
For adults, the cost of updating details such as name, date of birth, address, or mobile number is Rs 75, while biometric updates like fingerprints or iris scans will cost Rs 125.
You can now also update your Aadhaar address, date of birth, or name online without submitting any supporting documents
