Resiliency has been a key buzzword around the Red Wings this season and rarely have they exhibited it more than during Thursday's 4-3 overtime victory in Los Angeles.

The Wings won the shootout 1-0, with Lucas Raymond scoring the lone goal and goaltender Cam Talbot making all three saves.

But the Wings survived an apparent Los Angeles game-winning power play goal in overtime, which was disallowed when Kevin Fiala interfered with Talbot with 38.7 seconds left before scoring.

The Wings killed off the rest of the power play - the Wings killed all four Los Angeles power plays - and forced the shootout.

The Wings also survived Kings' Corey Perry and Quinton Byfield scoring goals 40 seconds with Kings goaltender Darcy Kuemper pulled, tying the game 3-3 and forcing overtime.
