President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika will today open the 52nd session of the parliament.
According to a statement from the Clerk of the House, Fiona Kalemba, the event will begin at 10:00 a.m. in Lilongwe.
The opening will bring together government ministers, members of the House, and other invited guests.
This marks the start of the first sitting of the 52nd session, which will review the fiscal policy for the 2025–2026 half-year period.
The session is scheduled to run from Wednesday, 5 November 2025, to Friday, 5 December 2025.
