On September 20, 2025, athletes from all over the Stateline came together to take part in Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful’s first annual 5K & 1-mile Family Fun Race to Recycle.

The fundraiser was held at South Beloit City Park where runners had an amazing view of Lake Victoria. Every participant took home a T-shirt as well as awards in various categories.
