Virginia will experiment with "boy psychology" tonight, staging a free party for the purpose of giving lads an evening of games and "eats" as a substitute for the usual costly Halloween pranks. Organizers expect 1,000 attendees, and boys will be encouraged to engage in a boxing tournament.

Duluth mortician and civic leader Thomas G. Bell died in his home at 66. He and his brother Hugo founded Bell Brothers Funeral Home in Duluth in 1915. He was also vice president of Pioneer National Bank.
