Baltimore County officials arrested a registered sex offender and charged him with attempted rape, assault, sexual solicitation of a minor and other charges.

Police allege Miracle Elendu, 28, of Baltimore, solicited, raped and trafficked female juveniles around Baltimore County.

According to charging documents, Elendu met the alleged minor victim when the minor was waiting for a bus to pick her up. The minor accepted a ride from Elendu. The two went to a parking lot and had sex after Elendu offered the alleged victim money, according to charging documents.

Officials said they began an investigation in September alongside the FBI Baltimore Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force.
