Some Starbucks employees practiced picketing on Thursday in case they decide to strike.

It comes as Starbucks Workers United still has not reached an agreement with the coffee giant on a contract.

There were 70 pickets across 60 cities this week, including one at a location in Hanover.

“We want them to take the proper steps to resolve the unfair labor practices, and we also want them to come back to the bargaining table and give us what we deserve,” said Cameron Mueller-Harder, a barista trainer. “That’s better pay, better hours, the resources and support we need.”

“The last meeting they had, Starbucks brought a contract that was just embarrassing, and it was wrong and not fair to anyone,” said Reese Burgett, a shift supervisor.
