`BENGALURU: A man was denied lunch at a Muslim wedding just for sporting tilak in Nelamangala and he walked out after being shamed.

Raju, a barber, was allegedly humiliated at a private wedding hall in Nelamangala on October 26 and was asked to leave the function because he was sporting a tilak. The wedding of Samiullah, son of Islampur resident Muzamil Pasha, and Sania was taking place at the wedding hall.

A relative of Sania had invited Raju to the wedding. Raju had attended the function, and when he sat down to eat, they told him to walk out of the place after seeing the tilak on his forehead.
