Two men have been held over for court on all charges, including attempted murder and conspiracy, for a daylight shooting in Lansdowne last month that sent the victim and one of the defendants to hospitals.
Both Yasir Kareem Salaam, 19, Lansdowne, and the 18-year-old victim were apparently struck by the same bullet allegedly fired by 17-year-old Abdur-Raheem Shoatz of Philadelphia.
Both defendants are being charged as adults and additionally face aggravated assault and firearms offenses.
The victim told Assistant District Attorney Amy Cappelli during a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge W. Keith Williams II that he was heading to a cookout at about 1:40 p.m. on Sept. 20 when he saw the two defendants in a light-colored car looking at him.
