NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — You really couldn’t ask for much better weather for Halloween night. After a cool and sunny day, trick-or-treaters will enjoy calm, quiet conditions this evening with clear skies and comfortable temperatures. Most of us will see temps in the 60s early in the evening, slipping into the 50s a little after sunset — perfect sweater weather for the kids and no need to worry about rain or wind.
Friday keeps the nice stretch going with another bright, mild day. Highs will reach the upper 60s to lower 70s with plenty of sunshine. It’s the kind of crisp, fall day that makes you want to spend some time outside. Temperatures will be chilly again tonight with lows early Saturday in the low to mid 40s north and mid to upper 40s south.
Looking ahead to the weekend, the next weathe
