Mayor Keith Wilson has stated that federal troops and Immigration and Customs Enforcement are going to cause massive issues in Portland. ICE is just doing its job to remove people from the United States who are here illegally. Wilson, on the other hand, is not helping to follow the law. As federal law trumps state law, he is the problem. So, anything that happens in Portland will be Wilson’s fault, not ICE’s.

His actions remind me of Democrat-run states in the south in 1860. Defying the federal government didn’t work out for the Democrats. It wasn’t smart then and it’s not smart now.
