A man is dead after being struck by a train in Huntsville, according to police.
The Huntsville Police Department says, about 4 a.m. Friday, officers were called to the railroad crossing near the intersection of Holmes Avenue and Memorial Parkway after receiving reports a person was struck by a train.
When officers arrived, they found a man that had been struck by the train. Police say he did not survive the incident.
HPD's Major Crimes Unit was called to the scene to lead the investigation.
Police say they do not suspect foul play in this investigation.
