Jake Stringer has been delisted by GWS with the promise of returning next season as a rookie selection.
Stringer, a premiership player at Western Bulldogs, was traded from Essendon to the Giants at the end of last season.
He played 15 games for the Giants and kicked 23 goals.
Stringer, along with Conor Stone, was pledged to return to the club via this season’s rookie draft.
The Stringer decisione comes as a former top five draft pick and Richmond’s former first pick were also among the casualties of the last day of AFL list changes after a hectic off-season which also included 34 players finding new homes during the trade period.
