DES MOINES, Iowa —

Sherman Hill in Des Moines hosted its annual Halloween on the Hill event Thursday, where houses were decked out and people dressed up for the occasion, keeping part of the Beggars' Night tradition alive.

Our crew found a group dressed as the Sanderson Sisters from the movie "Hocus Pocus."

"We love all the Hocus Pocus out here, it's awesome. We love being here because we love it, it's great. It's great for families, we see lots of families," said one of the attendees.

The event has also raised thousands of dollars and collected thousands of food items for DMARC's food pantries in years past.
