TOLEDO, Ohio — Lucas County Auditor Katie Moline is encouraging voters to use the updated online Levy Estimator ahead of the November 4 general election to see how proposed levies could affect their property taxes.
The tool, available through the Auditor’s Real Estate Information System (AREIS), lets users search by address and view the taxing authority, levy name and both current and proposed tax amounts.
To use the Levy Estimator tool, visit the Auditor’s Real Estate Information System (AREIS) Online and search for your address. On the panel to the left of the page, select “Levy Estimator.” The taxing authority, levy name and the current and new taxes are displayed.
