STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — New York City public school students will only go to class four days next week, as they have one day off.
Public schools are closed to students on Tuesday, Nov. 4, for Election Day, but many campuses will be open as voting sites.
It means students will head to class on Monday, Nov. 3, and then head back on Wednesday, Nov. 5, for the remainder of the regular school week.
For those looking further ahead, there are plenty of days off before the end of the year.
Election Day marks the first day off for students in November — as schools will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 11, for Veterans Day.
After these holidays, students won’t see any time off until Thanksgiving recess from Nov. 27-28. The last day of school before this recess will be Wednesday, Nov. 26, with kids head
