If you are a YouTube TV subscriber and you’re looking for any channel owned by Disney, you will not be happy to learn that those channels are now dark. The companies could not come to a new carriage agreement before October 31, so now YouTube has pulled the plug on Disney and basically cancelled those channels. Welp.
According to The Hollywood Reporter , YouTube TV subscribers will no longer have access to ABC, ESPN, Disney Channel, and Freeform. That’s a pretty darn big deal considering we are in the midst of NFL and college football right now. It is not clear when, or if, Disney channels will return to YouTube TV but, until then, the platform will give subscribers a $20 monthly credit.
