With the first "Halloweekend" in the books, celebrities are ramping up their Halloween 2025 celebrations.
Leading up to the actual Halloween holiday on Oct. 31, stars have been showing out in their best costumes. Some, like Janelle Monáe and Chloe Bailey, are dead ringers for the characters they're portraying, while others are getting more playful with their outfits.
For Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton, the spooky holiday is a family affair. Kardashian, mom Kris Jenner, and daughter North West debuted as a trio of TikTokers on Oct. 25, while Hilton and her husband Carter Reum did an adorable "Toy Story" recreation with their children.

Julia Fox shocks as blood-soaked, post-assassination Jackie Kennedy
Model Julia Fox went as former first lady Jackie Kennedy for Halloween, in a powder pink skirt suit soaked in blood, evoking the day her husband, President John F. Kennedy, was assassinated.
Fox was seen out and about at Halloween parties in her costume on her Instagram story. Vogue Spain also posted photos of the bestselling author in the costume on Instagram, which quickly garnered negative reactions.
Megan Thee Stallion is Choso from manga Jujutsu Kaisen, Drolta
Ever the anime nerd, rapper Megan Thee Stallion cosplayed as Choso from the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen this year. Choso is half human, half curse, and the "Her" rapper channeled the character in a white kimono-like robe and black scarf, spiky buns, and graphics evoking his blood manipulation technique.
Megan's cosplaying wasn't finished, however, as she followed up with another costume as Drolta from the anime Castlevania: Nocturne. To get into the dramatic character, she wore horns, bat-like wings and her glowing mark of power in the center of her forehead.
Kim Kardashian and North West mimic TikToker Jay Guapõ
TikToker Jay Guapõ has "made it."
On Oct. 25, Kardashian and 12-year-old North shared five TikTok videos of them embodying Guapõ, his brother Pink Cardigan, and mom @TherealChrissyG. The mom-and-daughter duo used the TikTokers' signature songs and dance moves, even incorporating water guns and featuring cameos from Kris Jenner.
Kardashian sported facial hair, curly black hair, and an electric blue jacket and leggings, while her daughter donned a salmon pink cardigan and black leggings — outfits that the brothers wore in videos posted over the summer.
After the Kardashian-West-Jenner family paid homage to the New York City-based content creator, he re-posted one of the videos with an elated clip reacting to the fact that he and his family had "made it."
Paris Hilton channels her 'queen' Britney Spears
Though they surely have several looks up their sleeves this year, Hilton and Reum revealed one of their family costumes early for a People feature.
Hilton did an impeccable recreation of Little Bo Peep from "Toy Story," with Reum as her cowboy Woody. Their 2-year-old son Barron was suited up as Buzz Lightyear while daughter London — who turns 2 on Nov. 11 — was dressed as cowgirl Jessie.
But oops, she did it again! Days later, Hilton unveiled another impeccable costume, dressing in a red latex jumpsuit to channel Britney Spears from the pop star's "Oops! ... I Did It Again" music video.
On Instagram, Hilton said that she was "honoring my Queen" and had "so much fun" dressing as Spears. "We love you, miss you, and can't wait for you to come over and hang out with me and the babies again soon," Hilton also wrote, addressing the singer directly.
Chloe Bailey plays an iconic Beyoncé character
Goldmember doesn't stand a chance against Chloe Bailey.
The singer celebrated Halloween extra early this year, gifting fans with a photoshoot of her as Foxxy Cleopatra — the spy played by Beyoncé in 2002's "Austin Powers in Goldmember" — on Oct. 21.
"I’m (Foxxy) Cleopatra and I'm a whole lotta woman!!!" she captioned the series of photos, in which she's wearing a lamé gold bodysuit and matching bra.
Janelle Monáe is the 'ghost with the most' as Beetlejuice
Halloween means it's showtime for the ever-theatrical Monáe.
The "Tightrope" singer has a few costumes in anticipation of their Oct. 30 Wondaween Halloween music festival in Los Angeles and has even teased that there will be more to come: "Costume #1 of " they wrote in an Oct. 23 post sharing details of their Michael Keaton-inspired Beetlejuice costume.
Monáe went all-out, even sharing a recreation of one of the iconic 1988 film's posters, with Monáe sitting atop a "Here lies Betelgeuse" gravestone as they wear Keaton's signature green hair, face paint, and black-and-white striped suit.
Bette Midler throws it back to her 'Divine Miss M' era
When it comes to going all-out, Bette Midler never disappoints.
The multi-hyphenate performer wore multiple hats at the anniversary celebration for her nonprofit, the New York Restoration Project, which took place on Oct. 24. She arrived on the step-and-repeat embodying her persona, the Divine Miss M, curly red hair and all.
Later in the event, she underwent a costume change for a more modest look, donning overalls, blonde hair, and red Crocs.
Keke Palmer channels Jessica Alba, Snoop Dogg
Keke Palmer kicked off Halloween week by first dressing as Honey Daniels, Jessica Alba's character from the 2003 dance movie "Honey."
"Halloweeeeen honeyyy," she captioned a photo that emulated the film's poster.
Palmer later joined forces with her son, Leodis, for an adorable mother-son costume: Palmer dressed as Snoop Dogg, while Leodis dressed as Bow Wow.
Bowen Yang pays tribute to 'The Legend of Zelda'
If "Saturday Night Live" is looking to parody "The Legend of Zelda," Bowen Yang already has the costume. The comedian embraced his inner gamer by dressing as Tingle, a map merchant character from the "Zelda" video game series.
"Y'all need maps or what????" he wrote on Instagram.
Niecy Nash recreates Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl halftime show
Niecy Nash brought us back to February with a flawless couples costume channeling Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl halftime show performance.
Nash's wife, Jessica Betts, dressed up as Lamar, while Nash went as Serena Williams, who made an iconic cameo during the halftime show performance. In a video shared on Instagram, Nash even recreated Williams' crip walk.
"Big Fans!" Nash captioned her post, tagging both Lamar and Williams. She added, "Y'all know The Betts love Halloween."
Taraji P. Henson performs Janet Jackson 'For Colored Girls' scene
Taraji P. Henson went as Janet Jackson from the 2010 Tyler Perry film "For Colored Girls," but she didn't leave it at just a costume. In a clip shared on Instagram, Henson also performed a famous scene from the film as Jackson's character.
