YOUNGSTOWN ‒ Bishop David Bonnar, head of the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown , is calling on parishioners and others to participate in a nonperishable emergency food drive to benefit residents living in the diocese's six counties, including Stark.
The food drive began Oct. 31 and runs through the end of the year. Those interested in donating to a local parish food pantry should contact their office directly for further guidance.
Catholic Charities and the St. Vincent de Paul Society locations throughout the diocese will serve as official drop-off sites.
In Stark County, donations may be dropped off at Catholic Charities Serving Portage & Stark Counties at 832 McKinley Ave. NW, or call 330-491-0896.
