Ensemble Montréal leader and mayoral candidate Soraya Martinez Ferrada extended her lead over her rivals, according to a new poll by Pallas Data.
She registered the support of 33 per cent of the voters, while her main opponent Luc Rabouin, leader of Projet Montréal, trailed behind with 18 per cent.
Nearly 30 per cent of voters were yet to make up their mind, a week before the election day, in a poll that was conducted on Oct. 25.
Action Montréal came in third with 11 per cent, followed by Transition Montréal with six per cent and Futur Montréal at three per cent.
The poll also highlighted a contrast between francophone and non-francophone voters with Rabouin and Martinez Ferrada drawing support of roughly a quarter of the voters.
