FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A Madera man will attempt to break a Guinness World Record in the middle of November by running a 50k on 7 continents in 7 consecutive days.
31-year-old Christian Johnson says he is ready for the journey, which he named Project 5077.
“I will start in Wolf's Fang, Antarctica, then Cape Town, South Africa, and Perth, Australia. Abu Dhabi. Algarve Portugal. Cartagena, Colombia, and then Miami, Florida," said Johnson.
The road ahead is a long one, with the temperatures fluctuating from the teens in Antarctica to the Humid heat in Colombia.
