Florencia & The Feeling refer to their music as “disco soul.” The Johnson City, Tennessee, band’s new album, “Couch Hangin’” is full of explosive, danceable tunes that skirt the line between funk and pop.

So you’d better be ready to dance at Florencia & The Feeling’s album-release show at Swanson’s Warehouse Nov. 7. If all goes well, you’ll be the first audience to have access to physical copies of “Couch Hangin’” for your own home dance party.

“I do believe that for the Greenville show, we will have our new album with us,” singer-songwriter and vocalist Florencia Rusinol told me in our recent interview. “We are going to be playing our album in full, and we can’t wait to share it with everybody and get everybody as excited as we are for this album.”
