Ialways appreciate people who go the extra mile when decorating their houses during the holidays. Some people run up their electric bill during Christmas time with a menagerie of lights and mechanical woodland creatures, and others make their porch look like the setting of a Bram Stoker novel for Halloween.

One Halloween during my childhood, I went trick-or-treating as Robin. A house in particular that stuck out to me that night had been decorated like a vampire’s lair.
