OZARK, Mo. (KY3) - Just south of the Ozark Mill is the oldest standing structure in Ozark: the Historic Weaver House .
“My dad wanted to purchase it years ago,” owner Scott Kaufman said. “My mom put her foot down and said, ‘Absolutely not, it’ll be a money pit.’ And turns out, I ended up not taking that advice, and we got it.”

Scott and Ann Kaufman bought the Weaver House a few years back and transformed it into an Airbnb, and the reviews have been great.
“Well, they love the home,” Ann said. “They say it’s very cozy. They’ve also said, ‘Hey, I’ve met your ghost.’”
Built somewhere between 1842 and 1855 by John Weaver, this house was a makeshift Civil War field hospital, and a meeting spot for the infamous vigilante group, The Baldknobbe
