CANFIELD A Canfield nurse has been indicted for allegedly distributing drugs not approved by the U.S. Food and Druf Administration (FDA).
According to a Mahoning County Grand Jury Report, Elizabeth Zinni, owner of the Zinni Family Practice in Canfield, was indicted on two counts of sale or use of drugs not approved by the FDA, a fifth-degree felony.
According to the indictment one alleged distribution happened in April of 2025 and a second allegedly happened in June.
This indictment comes after Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost sent a warning to Zinni Family Practice, warning it to stop making false or misleading claims on its compounded variations of Semaglutide and Trizepatide.
Semaglutide and Trizepatide are active ingredients in name-brand medications like Ozempic, Wegovy, Zepbound
