MT VERNON - The Southwestern Warriors were desperately seeking some form of momentum heading into postseason play with their regular season finale to play on Thursday. Unfortunately for the Warriors, they were slated to play the Rockcastle County Rockets, a team with just one loss on the season with a vaunted rushing attack.

In what ended up being a blowout, the Rockets raced past the Warriors as Southwestern saw their regular season come to a close with a 42-7 loss.
