MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Water service to a southern Colorado neighborhood will be temporarily shut off Monday due to a reported water issue.

According to the City of Manitou Springs, the Water Department identified a water issue affecting the Grand Avenue area. Water service to this neighborhood will shut off from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The shut-off will be part of an assessment to confirm the source and prevent further damage. The city said crews will determine whether the leak originates from a City water main or a private service line.

According to the city, residents in and around Grand Avenue should expect intermittent water service disruptions, low pressure, or temporary outages.
