RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- In partnership with federal and local agencies, Virginia State Police (VSP) has seized 202.5 pounds of narcotics, 19 firearms and more through investigations from Oct. 22 through Oct. 28.
On Oct. 31, VSP shared an update regarding recent investigations. In partnership with federal and local agencies, between Oct. 22 and Oct. 28, VSP has recovered 19 firearms, valued at $9,500.
In addition, during that time period, VSP seized a total amount of 202.5 pounds of narcotics and 3,041 controlled substance pills. The seized narcotics would be worth nearly $2.7 million, according to police.
The following is a breakdown of the narcotics recovered: • Cocaine: 39.3 pounds • Crack Cocaine: 2.3 ounces • Marijuana: 154.9 pounds • Heroin: 1.2 ounces • Methamphetamine:
