NEW YORK (PIX11) --- Five people have been indicted in the overdose deaths of Robert De Niro's grandson and the daughter of Blondie's Chris Stein in 2023, authorities and sources said Thursday.

Grant McIver, aka "Dizzy," Bruce Epperson, aka "Tea," Eddie Barreto, John Nicolas, aka "John John," and Roy Nicolas were arrested in connection with the deaths of Leandro DeNiro Rodriguez, 19, and Akira Stein, according to prosecutors and law enforcement sources. Sophia Marks, known as the "Percocet Princess," was previously charged with selling the drugs that caused the teen's death.

The men are accused of running a drug network and distributing thousands of pills laced with fentanyl to young adults in New York City, including the two victims, according to court records and sources.
