MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) - A 28-year-old man was recently arrested after a months-long investigation.
The Mesa County Sherrif's Office first started Matthew Berryman on Oct. 2 after deputies responded to a report of multiple assaults and ongoing domestic issues. The incident reportedly involved Berryman and a former partner.
The sheriff's office then started an in-depth investigation into the matter.
On Thursday, deputies contacted Berryman and arrested and remanded him into the Mesa County Detention Facility.
He's charged with • Criminal impersonation • Second-degree assault with intent to cause bodily injury by strangulation • Two counts of false imprisonment • Four counts of third-degree assault • Harassment • Domestic violence
