NEW ORLEANS — New Orleanians know painfully well the long road to recovery following a devastating hurricane making landfall, which is why several non-profits and New Orleans businesses are stepping up to host events and drives to help the citizens of Jamaica who are dealing with Hurricane Melissa’s aftermath.

Hurricane Melissa tore across the island of Jamaica and Haiti as a Category 5 storm on Wednesday.

Here are some events and businesses you can donate to the relief effort in Jamaica.

Paradigm Gardens

Concert Series night, but with a Caribbean twist in collaboration with NOLA Reggae Fest and the Jamaica Tourist Board, will feature Caribbean food and music.
