The delightfully dark and quirky Addams family is coming to life on stage this fall as Riverfield Theatre Co. presents The Addams Family: School Edition at the Smolen Black Box Theatre on the Riverfield Country Day School campus.

Artistic Director and Choreographer Marta Reiman, now in her third year leading the Riverfield Theatre Co., says this year’s production highlights both the heart and humor of the beloved gothic family.

“The Addams Family musical is about the importance of family above all else,” Reiman said. “You’ll see the classic characters you know and love, but with a twist—Wednesday has fallen in love with a ‘normal’ boy from the Midwest. When his family comes to dinner, opposition and hilarity ensues.”
