Kannada star Rishab Shetty accentuated his pan-India market and popularity with Kantara Chapter 1, a prequel to his 2022 super hit. Though it fell short of the coveted 1000 Crore mark, the phenomenal box office run has ensured that the film emerges as the highest grosser of 2025 across all languages. Now, he is game for more pan-India projects to consolidate his image further with wider audiences.

During the promotions of Chapter 1, Rishab revealed that he will next commence work on the much anticipated mythological adventure ‘Jai Hanuman’ under the direction of Prashanth Varma. Besides Jai Hanuman, Rishab also signed another ambitious film ‘The Pride of Bharat’, which will see him in the titular role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
