The State Election Commission, Nagaland has declared the results of the bye-election to Ward-11 (Zhipa) under Pfutsero Town Council held on October 28.

According to the official press release issued by the State Election Commissioner, T. John Longkumer, IPS (Retd), the results were announced on October 31, with Independent candidate Krokulo Khutso securing victory over fellow Independent candidate Tewu Mero.

Khutso polled 315 votes, constituting 54.40% of the total valid votes, while Mero received 264 votes, amounting to 45.59%. Khutso won by a margin of 51 votes. Out of a total of 594 votes polled, 579 were declared valid and 15 invalid.
