CANTON, N.Y. (WWTI) - Two people are facing felony burglary charges after allegedly stealing mountain bikes, electric scooters, and other items in Canton.
According to the Canton Police Department, a complaint was received regarding a burglary at a transitional living housing facility on October 22.
During the investigation, it was revealed that mountain bikes, electric scooters, and other things were allegedly stolen.
Authorities arrested 38-year-old Kayla Burkum and 35-year-old Cody Corbine on burglary, conspiracy, and petit larceny charges.
The pair was arraigned in the Canton Town Court, with Burkum remanded to the St. Lawrence County Jail on $2,500 bail. Corbine was released to the supervision of probation.
The Ogdensburg City Police Department assisted in the investigation.
