The Cornwall Colts took on the Nepean Raiders on Thursday, coming out ahead 7-4 after a tense matchup.
Throughout the night, pressure was on Colts’ goalie Colton Rheaume , who managed 29 saves to the Raider’s 23. Cornwall’s Timothy Walker and Lyndon Lamb also had great nights, with Walker contributing a hat trick, and Lamb potting in two of his own.
The Raiders took an early lead 4:30 into the first period with a goal by Luka Benoit, assisted by Noah Bath. The Colts weren’t far as Lamb scored his first goal with an assist from Jack Kent and Derek Rhodes.
The Colts took the first penalty of the night with a slashing call on Brandon Rockwell.
