CiviForm has received over 50,000 applications for City benefit and discount programs to connect families with everything from fresh food and childcare to transit passes and home repairs

Seattle – This fall, the City of Seattle’s CiviForm platform was named one of Time Magazine’s Best Inventions of 2025 and also reached the major milestone of over 50,000 applications for benefit and discount programs. The CiviForm platform was developed by the City of Seattle in collaboration with Exygy , Google’s philanthropic arm Google.org, and community organizations. It allows residents to re-use their information to apply for multiple programs at once, making it faster and easier for people to access resources. Following Seattle’s lead, the platform has since been adopted by the cities of Bloom
