SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Police have arrested a man under eighteen in connection with a hijacking of a motor vehicle that took place in the 3000 block of Skidaway Rd. on Thursday, October 30, according to a press release WTOC just received.

Savannah Police officers responded to the scene around 7:30 p.m. based on reports of a car being stolen, the release states.

Officials say the victim told investigators she was approached while fueling her vehicle before being robbed of property and her vehicle at gunpoint.

The SPD says officers utilized Flock cameras to locate the vehicle and stopped it after a short pursuit that ended with a single vehicle accident at Dieter St. and East Park Ave.

The suspect attempted to flee on foot but was taken into custody. He was charged with:
