OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEVV) — The City of Owensboro is once again waging its "War On Potholes," a two-week campaign to repair potholes across the city.
In preparation for cold weather and the difficulty in obtaining hot asphalt mix for pothole repair work, the Owensboro Street Department will launch its War On Potholes from Nov. 3 through Nov. 14.
During those two weeks, the public is being asked to report potholes to City Action.
Anyone reporting a pothole is asked to be as specific as possible about the location, referring to a street address or an intersection.
After reports are made, City crews will patch potholes from Nov. 17 to Nov. 28. The City of Owensboro will also pass the location of potholes on state or county streets to the proper officials.
