INDIANA COUNTY, Pa. —
A DoorDash driver who used his job to case houses before stealing thousands in delivered packages has been sentenced.

John Manning, a 35-year-old from Indiana County, pleaded guilty to a theft spree in Allegheny, Armstrong, Indiana and Westmoreland counties.
“While delivering meals as a DoorDash driver, this defendant was also scouting neighborhoods and homes for potential theft opportunities, which he later acted upon,” Attorney General Sunday said.
After stealing the packages, Manning allegedly sold many of the items inside on Facebook Marketplace.
Officials say he was caught by homeowners and surveillance cameras.
