Carl Junction High School's doubles team of Brooklin Leggett and Brooke Jasperson reached the Class 1 state tournament and competed in Springfield for a doubles championship last weekend on Friday and Saturday.

The senior duo worked through a tough opening match to reach the quarterfinals and then moved on to the semifinals as well. Leggett and Jasperson fell in the semifinals but were able to earn one more win in the third-place match to take home the bronze. ×
